The small canvas bag you've used to display your books is adorable! I love the Godey's Ladies Fashion Plate rendition on the front. The faded colors are very similar to the way they look on the colored pictures in my own Godey's Ladies Book.

I too am a book lover who cannot resist collecting. I have several of your books! I found them very interesting, insightful, and a pleasure to read. After your rendition of the bicycle escapade over Deception Pass, I came to the conclusion you must be in remarkably good health and very strong!

You're definitely a woman who accomplishes that which her mind has made up to do! I admire you and your husband Gabriel, your quest for an authentic period life, and your courage to "buck the system". You are modern pioneers (smile).
